Reverie - my go to products

A California-made haircare line that elevates clean beauty.

Like many others, I discovered Reverie through their bestseller Milk, well that and the killer branding. I’m a sucker for beautiful packaging, and Reverie nails it: minimal, modern, and just the right amount of luxury.

The first time I used Milk, it felt like luxury in a bottle. Sleek black packaging, an emulsifying texture, and that scent! Before I even apply it to my hair, I take a deep breath, instant aromatherapy to start the day. A dreamy blend of rose, bourbon vanilla, sandalwood, patchouli, lavandin, jasmine, and bergamot.

Personally, if something has jasmine or bergamot, I’m sold. The fact that this has both? I fell in love.

Milk

An anti frizz leave in treatment that adds moisture, softens, strengthens, and protects against heat damage. It’s a great option for air-dry days, can double as a lightweight curl cream, and works for all hair types.

How, you ask? Through protein and amino acids that repair surface damage and strengthen the hair to prevent future breakage. It also uses French mushroom to protect against environmental damage and shea butter to add moisture and reduce frizz. And yes—it works across all hair types.

Their products are formulated using skincare methodology and they’re incredibly detailed about every part of the process, from how they source ingredients to how they package. Reverie is committed to clean, vegan, and fair trade ingredients, and they practice sustainability within their operations. They favor regenerative, biodynamic, and organic farming methods that don’t stress the ecosystem. Their plastic is made from 100% post-consumer recycled material, and their glass bottles are 70% recycled. And on top of all of that, they’re Plastic Negative Certified. Meaning for every plastic bottle they sell, they fund the removal of twice as much ocean-bound plastic through their partnership with rePurpose Global.
